MERIDEN — The Meriden Police Department is looking  for the public’s help to identify a man they said could be a sexual assault suspect.

On July 20, police said a 14-year-old girl told them of a possible sexual assault when a man inappropriately touched her. The possible assault happened in front of a barber shop located at 29 West Main Street at around 8:30 p.m.

Police said that before grabbing her, the man spoke to her in what she described as a heavy Latin or Spanish accent.
