WEST SPRINGFIELD, Mass. -- The Big E is known for all types of food from mild to wild and The Pork Palace is a favorite among fair-goers.
The menu is filled with flavorful items like grilled pork chops, turkey legs, pulled pork and a BBQ sundae.
The "dessert" dish starts with apple crisp on the bottom, followed by southern corn bread, beans, garlic mashed potatoes, pulled pork and creamy cole slaw. It's all topped with a cherry tomato for a BBQ meal in a cup.
Owner Vito Marotta recently introduced a breakfast sandwich that will knock your socks off. The maple bacon Belgian waffle sandwich is filled two eggs, cheese and homemade maple bacon served on two waffles.
