OLD LYME — An Old Lyme teen is facing several charges stemming from a Connecticut State Police investigation.
On September 7, a Lyme-Old Lyme High School teacher’s email account was hacked and someone used it to send mass inappropriate emails, police said in a released Monday.
Troopers were able to identify a 15-year-old male student as a suspect. On Thursday, September 22, the teen was arrested, police said.
He is charged with computer crimes, harassment, and breach of peace.
Police did not identify the student because he is a minor.
