New Britain woman charged with attempted murder, accused of cutting man’s throat during argument
NEW BRITAIN — A New Britain woman is charged with attempted murder after police said she cut a man’s throat during an argument Tuesday night.
Police said Raynebow Adams, 33, and the victim were arguing while she was washing dishes and then she slit his throat. The man called police and initially said he was stabbed accidentally, New Britain Police Captain Thomas Steck said.
Police said the man suffered potentially life-threatening injuries and was in stable condition as of Tuesday evening.
Adams was charged with second-degree assault, disorderly conduct and attempted murder. She is scheduled to appear in New Britain Superior Court Thursday.
