Fairfield man wins $3 million in CT Lottery

builter_091916ROCKY HILL — A Fairfield man won $3 million in a Connecticut Lottery instant game.

Dean Builter of Fairfield claimed a $3,000,000 prize on the “$3,000,000 Royale” instant ticket. “You gotta stay calm,” Builter said. He decided to take the lump sum option.

Builter plans to retire at the end of the year and take a golf trip to Hawaii.

He bought the ticket at Stop & Shop, 1790 Post Road in Westport. The store will receive a $30,000 check from the CT Lottery.
