Maine State Police find missing 3-year-old girl, Amber Alert canceled

AUGUSTA, Maine — Maine police said they have found a 3-year-old girl and said she is with police officers.

They issued an Amber Alert for Lenore Wilson who was believed to be missing and in the company of an Augusta woman who occasionally cares for her, Fatima Gissentaner.

They said the girl was last seen at an apartment house in an Augusta  Monday night when there was a medical emergency involving her mother.

Maine State Police said Augusta Police responded to the family home for a “drug-related emergency” involving Lenore’s mother.

They said her mother is now out of the hospital.
