WEST HARTFORD -- Pink Party is a party with a purpose in partnership with Komen Southern New England; and it filled the streets of West Hartford with live music, entertainment and activities for all ages.

Local breast cancer survivors hit the pink runaway in a survivor fashion show outfitted in the latest fashions from nearby retailers, and modeling trendy hair and makeup looks provided by various Connecticut stylists.

People sampled delicious local flavors, danced to live music, entered to win raffle prizes, and purchased SWAG bags stuffed with donated items ranging from gift cards, cosmetics, tasty treats and tons of pink goodies!

FOX 61's own Erika Arias and Amanda Raus emceed the event.

A portion of the event proceeds will support breast cancer research and local breast cancer programs through Komen Southern New England.

And let everyone know you were there -- post on social media using the hashtag #pinkpartyct.
