SOUTH WINDSOR – Police said a Hartford man stole a car and used a credit card that he found in it.
Luis Rodriguez, 18, was arrested Wednesday and charged with third-degree conspiracy to commit burglary, fifth-degree conspiracy to commit larceny, sixth-degree conspiracy to commit larceny and illegal use of a credit card.
Police said in August 2016 Rodriquez stole a car and used a credit card that was in the car. They said Rodriguez admitted to being part of a group of Hartford teens that would drive around different towns going through unlocked cars looking for keys and key fobs so they could steal them.
Rodriquez was held on $25,000 bail and was due in Manchester Superior Court Thursday morning.
