As the Carolinas deal with a major hurricane, our weather here is very quiet,  though today’s forecast is far from perfect.  However it will dry for the UCONN Football game with lots of clouds dimming the sun this afternoon.  There is the chance for some showers tonight into Sunday morning.  Tonight's showers are not part of Matthew’s wrath, but instead from a cold front passing through, that will cool off the temps for the next few days. Highs today, under the clouds will stay in the mid-upper 60s with temps for Sunday in the low-mid 60s.  Sunday  will start out damp and clouds with lingering rain across southeastern CT, followed by gradual clearing skies from NW to SE during the afternoon.

Columbus Day is full of seasonal sunshine, and highs in the low 60s.  High pressure will dominate our weather through most of next week with a cold front in by late Thursday.

Today: Partly to mostly cloudy. Showers/rain might develop in the afternoon with the approach of a weak cold front. High: Upper 60s – low 70s.

Tonight: Scattered showers. Low: 50s.
