Police searching for car involved in hit-and-run in New Britain

NEW BRITAIN — Police in New Britain are searching for the person involved in a serious hit and run accident.

On Thursday, October 6, just before 8 p.m. a man was walking in the parking lot behind 75 Arch Street when he was struck by car. The car took off, but the man suffered serious injuries.

The New Britain Police Department’s Traffic Safety Bureau responded to process the scene and continue the investigation. The car involved has not been located and is described as a light colored two tone sedan.
