WEST HAVEN — A registered sex offender is facing new charges after police in West Haven said he flashed a daycare on Thursday.
West Haven Police responded to the daycare on Admiral Street around 2:45 p.m. Thursday. Someone called police and said an adult male exposed himself.
Police said Lawrence Kelly, 46, of Bristol Street, lives behind the daycare. The caller told police he came outside and opened his coat, exposing himself to her and the children.
Kelly is a registered sex offender.
He was charged with public indecency, risk of injury to a child, and breach of peace. He is being held on bond.
