WEST HARTFORD--Lhakpa Sherpa is a single mother and lives in a single bedroom apartment with her two young daughters.

She does everything she can to make ends meet, cleaning homes and cleaning the dishes at Whole Foods at Bishops Corner.

But there's so much more to Sherpa, 43,  than meets the eye.  Her last name says it all, that she is a mountain climber and she has climbed the highest mountain of all over and over again.  Seven summits to be exact on Mt. Everest, and that's a world record for women climbers.

On her descent in May of this year, representatives with the Guinness Book Of World Records were waiting with her certificate.  The government of Nepal even gave her a medal no one else has ever received.

Sherpa is not done though.   She plans to conquer Everest again, and again and again.
