img_1041MIDDLETOWN — Over 280 students took advantage of the great weather Thursday to attend the third annual Rally for Bully-Free Communities organized by the Community Foundation of Middlesex County’s Council of Business Partners and campaign partners in recognition of October as National Bullying Prevention Month.

The event took place at Empower Leadership Sports in Middletown. FOX 61’s Sarah Cody was the emcee. Participants took a pledge to stand together against bullying and all mean-spirited behavior.

The aim is to create a culture of positive choices and develop the leadership and empowerment skills necessary for creating a safe and healthy learning environment.
