BLOOMFIELD--The defending class S state champions the Bloomfield Warhawks came into this high school football season with several unknowns on the roster.

After several key players graduated following last season, including the team's starting quarterback, this football season looked like it would be a tough road back to the playoffs.

However, after a convincing first week win against the Berlin Redcoats, with a score of 36-14, the Warhawks have pushed their record to 5-0. And with multiple players now playing both sides of the ball, Bloomfield hopes to find its way back to earning the state championship this fall.
