SIMSBURY – Police are looking for a man they said robbed a bank Friday morning.
The Simsbury Police Department is investigating a bank robbery that happened at the TD Bank branch located at 714 Hopmeadow Street.
Police said the robbery occurred at around 10:15 a.m. Friday. showed a note demanding money. Police said the suspect was given an unspecified amount of money and left the bank on foot. No weapons were threatened and there were no injuries, according to police.
Police said the suspect is a 5’6″ white man, with a salt-and-pepper beard. It is not clear if he got away with any cash.
