2 Cheshire juveniles charged with trying to make bombs

CHESHIRE–Two juveniles have been arrested after a lengthy investigation into possible explosive manufacturing.

Cheshire Police say that with the help of the State Police Bomb Squad and the FBI, they began investigating two juveniles in Cheshire. The investigation showed the kids actively researching and building explosive devices in a wooded area between Highland Avenue/Route 10 and Academy Road/Route 68/70.

The juveniles are charged with manufacturing a bomb, conspiracy to manufacture a bomb and reckless endangerment.

It’s not clear if the juveniles had an intended target, or how close they were to completing the bombs.
