MIDDLEBURY — Nearly a year after deadly crash, a New Jersey teen has been charged in the case.
Erica Weinman, 19, is charged with manslaughter, operating under the influence of drugs or alcohol, and failure to drive in proper lane.
The crash happened just after 10 p.m. on Sunday, October 25, 2015 on I-84 in Middlebury.
Police said Kevin Klein, 59, of Brookfield died when his car was struck by Weinman’s. Police said she crossed the median from I-84 Westbound. Two other people were injured in the crash.
Weinman was arrested Friday, October 14 and released on bond. She is due in court on October 26.
