WALLINGFORD--Senior running back Zach Davis is putting up video game-like numbers for the Sheehan Titans on the grid iron this season.

Six games into his final season, he has rushed for close to 2,000 yards and has found the end zone 28 times.

Davis moved to tail back full time this season after spending most of his high school career at receiver. He also plays corner back, where he has recorded several tackles and picked up an interception.

In fact, head coach John Ferrazzi says the only time Davis isn’t on the field is on punt coverage.

His all-around athleticism is the main reason the CCSU Bluedevils have already offered him a scholarship, and others area schools are showing growing interest.
