OXFORD — State police said a person is dead after a pickup truck crashed into a ravine and burst into flames in Oxford.
Resident State Trooper Dan Semosky told The Connecticut Post the crash happened around 6:30 a.m. Saturday and involved only one vehicle.
Fire officials say the truck was on fire and on its side when rescuers arrived. The victim was trapped inside.
Semosky says the state medical examiner’s office is working on identifying the victim.
The cause the crash remains under investigation.
