HARTFORD – The Chicago Cubs are going to the World Series and a local company is making the baseball caps that celebrate their championship run.

“The Cubs hats have a flavor of the Red Sox hats from 2004 when we did the hats for the World Series champs in 2004 when they hadn’t won in, I think it was 80-something years,” said Roberto Giansiracusa, Gima Sports owner.

Gima is located at 241 Ledyard Street in Hartford but if you want to but one the caps, you can find them in sports apparel stores like Bob’s and Dick’s, and one thing is certain  – they won’t run you as much as an average ticket price for a game.

The average ticket price for the four games scheduled for Cleveland against the Indians, including the series opener on Tuesday night, is about $3,900, according to ticket tracker TiqIQ. A ticket for a deciding Game 7, which would be played Nov. 2, could cost $5,000.

If you’re looking to save some money, Game One on Tuesday in Cleveland is on FOX 61 at 8 p.m. – for free.
