State police issue warning for ‘armed and dangerous’ twin brothers from Norwich

CANTERBURY — Connecticut State Police issued a warning Monday afternoon about twin brothers deemed armed and dangerous.

“We need your help locating this bank robbery duo. Please share!” they wrote on their Facebook page.

Both Rollins and Coffin were was last known to be driving a black 2000 Chevy Tahoe, which was used in the robbery, police said. They are believed to still be in the Southeastern part of the state.

On Friday, Sept. 23, around 9:10 a.m. police said a suspect entered the Savings Institute bank on Route 14, implied he had a weapon, and left with an undisclosed amount of cash.

If located, please alert police immediately by calling 911.

“DO NOT confront or attempt to detain these individuals,” police said. “They are considered armed and dangerous.”
