Metro-North now close to schedule in Milford after truck got stuck

MILFORD – A tractor-trailer truck got stuck under the Beardsley Avenue bridge in downtown Milford Wednesday morning, causing a minor disruption to commuter rail service Wednesday morning

The accident happened at around 8:30 a.m. Police said there were no injuries.

The Metro-North New Haven line was impacted due to the situation. Some speed restrictions were placed on one track and some minor damage was reported.

Residual delays had also been reported on the New Haven Line. The line is now operating on or close to schedule.

In April, a tractor-trailer got stuck under the River Street Metro North underpass on Railroad Avenue.
