NEW HARTFORD -- Ski Sundown is excited to be offering three new programs for the upcoming season.

The first is an Adult Race Program for advanced skiers who are seeking an introduction to racing, and racers who are interested in fine-tuning their technique.

The second new program is the Girls Rock the Park terrain park lesson program just for girls. Born from an annual girls’ event that has seen interest and attendance increases, this five-week program will provide an encouraging, empowering and fun learning environment designed to make girls, ages 8-15, feel more comfortable and equipped to enjoy the thrills, including jumps, rails, boxes and other features that the terrain park offers.

The third of the new offerings is a lesson program just for 3-year olds. This program will be a series of 30-minute lessons designed to introduce winter sports and the mountain to preschoolers. The goal is to make them comfortable with their surroundings at the mountain, learn how to put on winter gear, walk in ski boots, glide on skis and get the basic foundations of skiing.
