HARTFORD--The Hartford Wolf Pack tallied its 800th victory in franchise history Wednesday night at the XL Center in Hartford against the Hersey Bears, but it didn’t come easy.

Hersey jumped out to an early 1-0 lead in the first before the Wolf Pack tied up the game on a power-play goal by Chris Brown.

In the second period Malte Stromwall scored his first career goal off a beautiful feed puck from John Gilmour to give Hartford the lead 2-1. The Bears tied the game up 2-2, so the teams had to skate 3 on 3 in overtime to decide the contest.

That's when Ryan Graves unleashed one monster slapshot to light the lamp for his first goal of the season, and to give the Hartford Wolf Pack a 3-2 victory.
