Allen Collins, 34, of South Windsor was charged with five counts of burglary in the third degree, larceny in the third degree, two counts of larceny in the fifth degree, two counts of larceny in the sixth degree, three counts of criminal mischief in the first degree and cruelty to animals. Collins was held on $150,000 surety bond and was arraigned Tuesday.
Collin’s charges stem from a series of burglaries and criminal mischief cases that occurred in late 2015 and early 2016. These cases include a burglary/jewelry theft at a Cambridge Drive home, burglaries at a Sullivan Avenue lumberyard, and a Sullivan Avenue Fuel company.
