WEST HAVEN — Police said a person has been killed in a weekend hit-and-run in West Haven.
Police said a car hit Rudy Chacon Portillo, 52, of Spring Street in West Haven, in the area of Boston Post Road and Barbara Street shortly after 2 a.m. Sunday and then took off. They said they later found the car and driver.
The victim’s identity won’t be released until family members are notified.
This Departments Major Accident Squad is continuing to investigate the crash.
