NEW LONDON — One of two men charged in the killing of a father of five whose body was found in a southeast Connecticut field more than a decade ago has pleaded not guilty to felony murder.
Thirty-two-year-old Christopher Vincenti waived his right to a probable cause hearing on Tuesday in New London in the Jan. 28, 2006 killing of 40-year-old Anthony Hamlin.
Hamlin, of Groton, was a member of the Eastern Pequot Tribal Nation. He was found dead in Ledyard from blunt force trauma to the head.
Vincenti, of New London, was arrested on Oct. 14.
Timothy Johnson has also pleaded not guilty to felony murder in the case.
Both remain held on $1 million bail. Vincenti is expected back in court on Dec. 13.
No further arrests are expected.
