MONROE–A mother was arrested after a bystander allegedly witnessed her shooting up heroin.

On Wednesday around 7:40 p.m. police responded after a person made a complaint that a woman was “shooting up” heroin in her car in the Goodwill parking lot, located at 252 Monroe Turnpike in Monroe. The complainant said there was a young child present in the car at the time.
