HARTFORD -- A ten-year-old shot in the face on Branford Street, Hartford Sunday afternoon is in guarded but stable condition.
Police said the girl was taken to the emergency room at St. Francis Hospital which was put on lockdown for about an hour. The ER has reopened. Police said no one else was injured.
Police said they found her father putting her in the car and she was driven to St. Francis. She was later taken to Connecticut Children's Medical Center.
Hartford police put crime tape around a car outside ER entrance for St. Francis Hospital.
Police do not have any suspects.
