BRIDGEPORT – Monday marks a solemn anniversary: the 2001 disappearance of Bianca Lebron.

Over the years, Bridgeport Police have released age-enhanced photos of what Lebron might look like today, since she was 10 years old when she was last seen on November 7, 2001.

Police said the fifth-grader told classmates she was leaving school with an “uncle” to go shopping. Attorneys for the city reached a settlement in 2008 to pay $750,000 to the Lebron family. The family filed the lawsuit claiming Bianca’s teacher let her leave without asking Bianca about the “uncle.”

The case remains unsolved and anybody with any information is asked to call Bridgeport Police at 203-576-7671.
