HARTFORD -- Collecting frozen turkeys, chickens and all of the fixings for a holiday meal for the community took place at the Bank of America's 17th Annual Turkey Tuesday.
The event happened from 6–10 a.m. Tuesday in the Cityplace 1 Lobby at 185 Asylum Street in Hartford.
All cash donations will support Foodshare, the regional food bank that provides food to community kitchens, shelters, food pantries and other social service organizations that serve children, families and seniors.
Bank of America, Foodshare, United Health Care, and Optum volunteers were on hand to accept donations of turkeys, chickens, potatoes, canned goods, checks, and cash.
