HARTFORD -- A ribbon cutting ceremony at the Bone and Joint Institute at Hartford Hospital Tuesday marked a major addition to the medical landscape in the city.
After months of construction, the five-story, state of the art facility is now complete. The 130,000 square foot building sits in the heart of the city. It's mission is to bring the highest level of care to patients locally and to be an asset to the rest of the region.
$150 million went into making it a world class facility.
The first surgeries at the Bone and Joint Institute will take place in January.
