NEW HAVEN — New Haven Fire Department battled a two alarm blaze early Sunday morning.
Residents were displaced after the fire tore through the home on Elm Street around 3:28 a.m.. No injuries were reported.
The fire originated in the first floor area, and moved up the second and third floors into the attic. It escalated to a two alarm fire, but no mutual aid was called.
The Fire Marshal is still on scene investigating the cause.
