Eversource introducing newly-redesigned bills

HARTFORD — After gathering customer opinions and input, Eversource electric and gas customers across Connecticut will soon be getting utility bills that have been completely redesigned.

The revamped bill is in direct response to customers who have told us they want a more user-friendly format that makes it possible to spot the most important information at-a-glance – a bill that saves them time and is easier to understand.


Features of the new, full-color bill include:

  • A clear presentation of the amount due, due date, and supply and delivery charges
  • A personalized graph illustrating customers’ month-by-month electric or gas usage history
  • A new section that features updates and tips, such as information about tools available to enhance a home’s energy efficiency
  • Budget Billing customers will find a helpful overview of their budget amount and payments

The newly designed bill is scheduled to debut this week. Customers who receive their utility bill electronically will also be seeing the new format reflected on their digital bill.
