The high school football regular season wraps up this weekend with the traditional Thanksgiving Day games, but Wednesday night had some exciting action as well.

In Middletown, the 8-1 Blue Dragons hosted the 9-0 Windsor Warriors in a annual match-up that never disappoints. The teams traded the lead four times in the first half before Middletown took the lead at the break 17-9.

The Warriors scored quickly in the third to cut the Blue Dragon's lead to 17-15.

But with a little luck came an early Christmas present for Windsor: a perfect regular season. Late in the fourth quarter Middletown was deep in Warrior territory looking to seal the win when Tyshaun James had the ball stripped, which flew right into the waiting arms of Jerry Woodward who returned the ball 90 yards for the game winning touchdown.

Windsor ended their regular season 10-0 with the 21-17 victory.
