LITCHFIELD–Sometimes, it takes a lifetime to find one’s true soulmate.
That was the case for Phip Scheide and Sue Ehrhardt, who were high school sweethearts when they attended the Forman School in Litchfield. Scheide graduated in 1986, Ehrhardt in 1987, and they went their separate ways.
But they have thought of each other over the past 30 years, and they recently reunited and fell in love all over again!
In mid-November Scheide proposed to Ehrhardt where it all began, and of course she said yes! It was all caught on camera in a sweet moment that was shared with other Forman School students and alumni.
In a comment from Phiphe said, “I cannot find the right words to express how much this romantic, heartfelt tribute means to us!!! Forman is such a wonderful school and and means so much to us!!!!! Thank You SO much to you and all who put this together!! This tribute brought tears to our eyes.”
In a second comment, Sue said, “This is absolute wonderful. Thank you so, so, so much for capturing this moment for us. This is a day we will cherish for the rest of our lives. Beautiful, awesome and heartfelt video….you all did such a wonderful job putting this together and surprising me. Hugs and love to you all. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!!!!!”
Now the only question is: when will the lovebirds get married?
