BRIDGEPORT — A Connecticut State Trooper lost control of his cruiser in Bridgeport Wednesday and flipped it over. The rollover happened just before midnight on Wednesday due to wet road conditions, according to state police.

State police said Trooper Matthew Losh lost control of his 2013 Ford Interceptor on Route 25 north just past Exit 5 in Bridgeport and veered into the median.

The cruiser struck a metal guard rail and rolled over multiple times, coming to rest on the roof in the left shoulder of the left lane.

Losh suffered cuts to his right hand, was taken to St. Vincent’s Hospital and released shortly after.
