Stan Simpson: More financial woes for Connecticut

HARTFORD -- The state financial picture remains very bleak. After closing billions in budget deficits in recent years with more taxes and job cuts, the state is projecting another billion dollar deficit in 2017. That’s on top of a projected $77 million shortfall this year.
