JOHNSTON, R.I. -- A serious crash at a gas station in Johnston, Rhode Island, has left two teens dead and at least 2 injured.

On Tuesday around 4:10 p.m., police responded to reports of a multiple-vehicle crash near the intersection of Route 6 and Bishop Hill Road in Johnston, Rhode Island.

Two people were taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, and both have since died. Two others were taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

Police say Andrea D'Agostino, 87, was trying to turn left in a Buick from Bishop Hill Road to Route 6 west. Zachery Albanese, 19, was driving east on Route 6 and had just entered the intersection at Bishop Hill Road when the cars crashed.

The crash caused the Audi to go off the road into the parking lot of a Sunoco gas station, where it hit a parked, unoccupied Honda SUV that was at a gas pump. That led the Honda to hit the gas pump, igniting the Honda on fire. The Audi spun across the parking lot before coming to a stop back on Route 6.

A rear passenger in the Audi, Taylor Reilly, 18, died on Tuesday. A front seat passenger, Dylan Lorenzo, 18, was taken to the hospital, where he died on Wednesday morning.

D'Agostino was taken to the hospital but later released. Albanese was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
