Bridgeport Police investigate homicide

BRIDGEPORT – Bridgeport Police are investigating a fatal shooting that happened in their city on Thursday.

Police said that at about 6:45 p.m. they found a dead man in an apartment and they are now investigating his death as a homicide.

Police said they went to 360 Palisade Avenue after they got a 911 call and found Noel Esbri, 32, of Bridgeport, with a gunshot wound to his upper body.

The Bridgeport Police Department Detective Bureau is investigating and anyone with information about the homicide is asked to call the Bridgeport Police Tips Line at 203-576-TIPS (8477).
