HARTFORD — Connecticut State Police are asking people to reduce their speeds on the highways, and to clean off their cars.
Between 2:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. troopers responded to approximately 250 no injury-minor injury motor vehicle crashes and approximately 285 motorist assists for spin-outs and disabled vehicles.
Many spin outs caused the highway to be shut down in near I-84 near exit 62 and exit 48.
There is no word on any injuries.
The slippery road conditions were caused by snow falling throughout the state. You can check with the Fox 61 weather page for more information.
