Route 8 north reopens in Naugatuck after a tractor trailer crash with possible injuries

NAUGATUCK — A crash on Route 8 northbound in Naugatuck is caused a lot of traffic on Tuesday afternoon, but was cleared up quickly.

The road was shut down near Exit 26 around 3 p.m. after a car and tractor trailer crashed, but the right lane quickly reopened. The full highway reopened in about 30 minutes.

State Police say that there may be some injured victims involved in the crash, but did not have further information.
