HAMDEN — Police made two arrests after a concerned citizen reported seeing suspicious activity.

Around 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, someone called police to say they’d seen people walk up to a residence on London Drive in Hamden and take a package that had been delivered.

A short time later police found the suspect. They say Jack Humphrey, 43, of Hamden, stole a package with three boxes of Legos from the home. Police also determined that Humphrey had walked up to a Daniel Road front porch with several delivered packages on it, but that a neighbor yelled at him and he ran off, fleeing in a car driven by Lisa Zielinski, 43, of Hamden.

Police took Humphrey and Zielinski into custody.

Humphrey is charged with larceny in the sixth degree, two counts of conspiracy to commit larceny in the sixth degree and two counts of simple trespass. Bond was set at $1,000 and he will be in court January 4.
