WATERBURY -- The holidays are a time that family and friends come together from miles around to spend time and reminisce. In Waterbury, the Sacred Heart High School basketball community is no different.

On December 31 the school hosted alumni games -- a women's game at 10 a.m. and a men's game at noon. In a gesture of holiday giving, they are using the games to raise money for Kelvin Davis, a 2002 graduate who is fighting cancer for a second time.

There was no price for admission, but donations are being accepted and several raffles will also be available.
