No need to “careless whisper” about it, an interesting pattern is here. “One more try” for mild temps as we head into Monday.

We start with sun, but clouds quickly move in and slow the warmup. This is an issue as we have rain late, and if inland temps stay close to 32, we may get a little freezing rain, so have “faith” that the temps will warm up.

Temps still rise overnight into the 40s, as the rain falls, and “wake me up before the temps go go” into the 50s on Tuesday. (thanks George Michael)

For now, just a small chance of snow and rain Thursday is the only headache for the last days of 2016.

Next week looks relatively mild for this time of year with highs averaging the 40s, lows in the 20's.  A couple of fronts will deliver rain showers early Tuesday and snow/rain showers late Thursday into early Friday.  No big winter storms or Arctic Cold in sight through the last week of 2016.

Forecast Details:

Monday: Sunshine mixing with afternoon clouds.  Highs: 40s.

Tuesday: Chance for an early shower, partly to mostly sunny, High: 45-50.

Wednesday:  Mostly sunny, brisk and a little cooler. Highs: upper 30s- low 40s.

Thursday:  Increasing clouds,  chance for a few afternoon flurries and sprinkles . Highs: 35-40.

Friday: Partly sunny, blustery and cool. High: 35-40.
