Dear Atty. Murray,

During a recent snowstorm, I was walking up my friend's sidewalk when I slipped and fell, breaking my wrist. It had been snowing for over five hours and she hadn't done any shoveling, sanding or salting. I don't want to sue her, but I have an unpaid emergency room bill. What should I do?
