NEW YORK -- Police rushed people out of the lobby of Trump Tower to investigate a report of a suspicious package on Tuesday, but the "all clear" was quickly given.
The building, located on 5th Avenue and 57th Street in Midtown Manhattan, is where President-elect Donald Trump and his family live.
The New York Police Department said on Twitter that the Counterterrorism Bomb Squad responded to reports of a suspicious package in the lobby of the building "out of an abundance of caution." A short time later the department tweeted the "all clear."
It turned out the "package" was a bag of children's toys.
Video obtained by FOX 61 shows panicked people running from the building, being directed by police.
President-elect Donald Trump lives in the tower and has his offices there, though he is presently at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida.
