WESTPORT — A crash on Saturday morning on I-95 killed one person, and injured three or four others, State Police say.
Around 5:15 a.m., at least two cars were involved in the crash on I-95 northbound between exits 17-18.
The crash occurred when one car’s rear bump was struck. The impact caused one vehicle to hit the concrete barrier.
The other vehicle hit the right wire rope guard rail on the shoulder of the highway, running of the interstate, and striking several trees before rolling over,
The right rear passenger was ejected from the seat and was pronounced dead at the scene by medical examiners.
Thevictim, Muhamad Bahaga, 32, of New York was not wearing a seat belt when the crash happened. The other three passengers in the same vehicle all received minor injuries.
