WATERBURY — Firefighters responded to a call at the intersection of South Main and Pearl Lake in Waterbury at 8:45 p.m. Saturday.
Once fire fighters arrived on the scene the abandon factory was complete engulfed in flames. Firefighters are now working on containing the fire, making sure that it does not spread.
As of now, the fire continues to rage. The building has now become unstable and fire fighters are preparing for a collapse.
The cause of the fire remains unknown as of now, but a fire marshal is on scene.
