NEW BRITAIN — A man from New Britain hasn’t been seen for more than a week.
According to police, Robert Avakian, 74, went missing on December 22. Police issued a Silver Alert that day, but reissued it on Monday since he has been missing for so long.
Avakian is described as a white man, about 5-foot-8, 140 pounds with gray hair and brown eyes.
